Happy New Tax Year!

I love April don’t you? Springtime, sunshine, my favourite Bank Holidays on the horizon and it’s the start of the new tax year!

Whether April is the start of your financial year or not, this is the perfect time to push the reset button on your planning as it’s the beginning of a new 90-day period in your business.

It’s an ideal opportunity to revisit, review and readjust your goals and strategy for the next quarter and the year ahead in fact.

Hopefully you will have your own 90 Day Planning Session blocked out in your diary?

It’s one of our key days in The Success Coach HQ Calendar. It’s the time when we look at what’s worked well, what didn’t, what goals and targets were met, what weren’t and how we improve everything going forward.

This exercise isn’t purely functional; it also allows you to great real about just how much revenue your business has been producing.

This is essential to monitor regularly throughout the year as it keeps you out of the denial (we can all easily slip into) around just how much income you are actually generating.

More importantly you will have a more detailed historic base line.

This will enable you to become more strategic and proactive in the next stage of your business year.

If this is not something you are doing, I highly recommend you block out a day in your diary, gather your essential metrics e.g. how many new leads, prospects, customers came into your business, what was their average order values etc. and

This will help you get clarity on at exactly what you want to achieve in the next 90 days, then build that plan out ASAP.

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that taking time out to do this is not a good use of your time.

It’s THE BEST use of your time.

Planning creates structure, structure creates confidence and confidence gets you out there talking to the right people about what you offer and it’s that which will build your business and your profits.
